What better lesson can we learn from the dogs we love, than to live in the moment?
To be here now, together.
Feeling the earth beneath and all around us.
Choosing our path as the moments guide us.
The smells, the sounds, and every beautiful sight we see, steering us to places that move us deeply.
If nature is the place that sets your soul free, then this call to adventure is for you.
There are over 100 state parks in Washington.
And I’d like to photograph dogs in all of them.
We’re gonna play together on the trails and the beaches, in the rivers and the lakes, among the wildflowers and the trees.
Join me, and we’ll create art to remind us how wonderful it is to live in this place with the dogs we love.
If there’s only one thing I know for sure, it’s that I’m here to live.
And to feel it all.
Not to escape, but to seek out more opportunities to live this life in all its beautiful messiness. In all its joy and grief. In every moment that makes it ours.
I’ve created SoulDog in The Wild to honor the memory of my Soul Dog, Kerouac, who taught me so much about living with a wild and open heart.
My hope is to find healing and inspiration through this journey, and to create art that does the same for others.
I’d love for you and your Soul Dog to join me in living this beautiful mess, together.
Let’s go see some incredible places, and make art to remind us just how great it is that we’ve lived.

SoulDog in The Wild is a personal project for me, but it can be something special for you too.
While I work my way through the goal of photographing dogs in every state park in Washington, you can make new memories with your Soul Dog and this wondrous place we call home.
More time spent with your dog.
A chance to be seen in all your light.
Moments you’ll hold onto forever.
You’ll inspire community.
When you choose to participate in SoulDog in The Wild, you’re sharing your journey with our community. The art we create will celebrate you and your Soul Dog, but it also honors the beautiful places we explore together. All of this serves as inspiration for others to step into their own stories, and live the journey with the dogs they love.
You’ll help keep our spaces wild.
Keeping our wild spaces wild is all of our responsibility. Creating art that brings awareness to the importance of caring for our earth is part of what we’re doing through SoulDog in The Wild. In addition to that, a portion of every session fee is donated to organizations that help keep these spaces wild and wonderful.
You’ll be part of a legacy.
There’s so much potential for what we create with SoulDog in The Wild (a gallery show, a book, and more!) When you book your session, your Soul Dog’s story will live on through all of it. They’ll be representing so much beauty in our world, and they’ll help create a living legacy of these wild places we call home.
SoulDog in The Wild Session Package
Starting at $2500
*Some of the larger parks might have more than one dog featured in order to reach more spaces. And there might be future editions of the project that will allow for photographing additional SoulDog in The Wild sessions in all the parks at different times of year.
The experience of exploring your chosen state park for your SoulDog in The Wild photo session is just one piece of what we do together. I believe in giving ourselves the opportunity to reconnect with moments, places, and feelings through physical art. Not just a digital portrait to glance at on our phones, but a piece of art that hangs where we can see it daily. To remind us of this beautiful life we’ve lived with our Soul Dogs.
This is why your SoulDog in The Wild session experience includes one gorgeous wall art piece. It’s not just any ordinary wall art piece though. Your SoulDog in The Wild wall art piece is a one-of-a-kind piece of art. Your 20×30 inch* acrylic wall art comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, naming it an official SoulDog in The Wild collection artwork, and will hold your dog’s name and the park we featured.
*Exact artwork dimensions may vary depending on the final image selected, but will be up to 30 inches on the long side. Upgrades will be available along with options to purchase additional artwork.
I had these custom maps made to help me keep track of the parks as I photograph dogs for SoulDog in The Wild.
Your session with me is only the beginning for you. I want you to continue your adventures in Washington State Parks with your dog. So I had these maps made for you too.
When you book a SoulDog in The Wild session, you’ll get your own copy of the map of your choice to hang at home (and to inspire you to continue to explore with your Soul Dog).
Soon, the maps will be available for everyone to purchase, which will help support the project as well as raise funds for organizations doing great work for our wild spaces.*
* A portion of the proceeds from map sales will be donated to local (Washington State) nonprofits.

Where will we adventure to?
In your inquiry, you’ll answer a few questions, including letting me know when and where you’d like your SoulDog in The Wild session to take place. It’s okay if you’re not sure which park (or what season) you want your SoulDog in The Wild session to be yet. I’ll help you figure it out based on which parks haven’t yet been booked, and what kind of adventure you and your dog want to experience.

How will we embrace your wildness?
Planning your session involves us meeting over Zoom to talk about you and your dog. We’ll plan your adventure based around the park you’ve chosen, the artwork we’re creating (your authentic SoulDog in The Wild wall art piece as well as any other art you have your heart set on), and your story. This is where you’ll officially book your session, and become a part of SoulDog in The Wild.
Let’s go!
You ready to answer the call?
Once you’re all booked, I’ll do additional research about the area of the state we’re visiting. I’ll send recommendations for where to stay (if the park you pick is far from home and you plan on making it an overnight trip), eat, and other things to do. It’ll be your own custom digital packet for your SoulDog in The Wild adventure.
After you’ve submitted the form below, you’ll be redirected to a page to book your zoom consultation. You’ll also receive an email with the same link to book if you aren’t ready to schedule it right away.
There are plenty of Washington State Parks that don’t require us to hike far. If you prefer to have your session in a super accessible location, we’ll pick a WA State Park that fits your needs and still gives us opportunity to create your beautiful SoulDog in The Wild wall art piece (and more).
If your heart is set on having a photo session for your Soul Dog in a particular park, but that park has already been completed for SoulDog in The Wild, we can get you booked in for a regular session. If you really want to be a part of SoulDog in The Wild, I suggest we work together to find another park. You never know, you might just discover your new favorite place.
PLEASE be in photos with your dog. I can’t tell you enough how grateful I am to have booked TWO professional photo sessions with my Soul Dog before she died. The photos of us together, just being our wild selves, are some of my greatest treasures.
If you’re nervous about being in photos, I get it. It can feel awkward not knowing what to do, or what’s happening behind the camera. But here’s the thing. When you are with your dog, just being in the moment together, you are absolute magic. We’ll work together to create a fun, joyful, and stress-free experience for you and your dog. If anything awkward comes up, we take a break, regroup, do some zoomies, and continue living in the moment where you and your dog are in your beautiful light.
Afterwards, you’ll be so happy to have photos that show just how amazing you are with the dog you love.
Oh, you’re definitely going to want more than just your authentic SoulDog in The Wild wall art piece. During your ordering appointment (where we go through all the best images to pick your SoulDog in The Wild wall art piece), you’ll have access to my full line of SoulDog artwork options. I’ll be there to help you decide what you’d like to purchase, and which images will look best based on the art you want to fill your home.
